Before I go, we should discuss these granola bars. They’re simple, delicious, and filled with good-for-you substances and healthy fatty acids to maintain you satisfied. Plus they are incredibly easy to make!

First we toast the coconut, oats, and almonds within the oven.

Then simply mix honey, almond butter, just a little coconut oil, vanilla and cinnamon inside a saucepan to heat completely. The wet elements are then put into the dry mix and tossed to mix. Easy!

Now I prefer to bake these, but you don’t always need to. I’ve provided directions for both in the recipe! Depending on that you choose you may end up with a chewy bar, or a somewhat crunchier bar. Either way, they are delicious!

I love the actual fact that these are naturally sweetened and full of flavor through the coconut and almonds. But dark chocolate on top? Yes, you really must!

It reminds me a little of a almond pleasure granola bar. I trim mine into mini bite size items to enjoy as a healthy treat between meals.

Ingredients

1 cup almonds, sliced up or coarsely chopped

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 glass honey (agave, brown grain syrup or maple syrup, if vegan)

1/2 cup almond butter

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

3 ounces quality dark chocolate, cut into small parts (vegan, if preferred)

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 levels F. Collection a 9-inches square pan with parchment paper.

In a big dish combine oats, almonds, and coconut. Pass on on a big cooking sheet and bake for 10 minutes, stirring halfway through. Remove from oven and transfer to a large bowl.

Increase honey, coconut oil, almond butter, salt, cinnamon, and vanilla to a medium sauce pan and warmth over medium-low temperature until warm and coconut oil is melted. Add damp ingredients to dried out ingredients and stir well to combine and coat the oat/almond/coconut combination. Transfer combination to prepared skillet and press securely right down to pack pubs firmly and ensure they stick jointly. The harder you press, the more they will stick together – so press them in extremely firmly.

You can also bake these if you want crunchy bars: Bake for 10-15 minutes or until firm then remove from range and keep at space temperature to cool. Don’t bake longer or they will become very difficult.

No bake method: Place skillet in fridge for 20 moments or until company. I love the no bake technique!

To make chocolates: melt delicious chocolate in twice boiler or in a medium heatproof dish over simmering water. You can even microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring in between. Once melted and soft in consistency, spread evenly over pubs. Allow delicious chocolate to awesome and harden at room temperature, then lower into 16 pubs. Store within an airtight container.

Feel free to blend and match add-ins as desired. You can use dried fruits or different nut products. Get crazy!
