Ahhhhhhhh! I am so completely active lately.

Today I competed inside a Chinese take-out cook-off. It was amazing to see the come out and all of the creative dishes.

We were necessary to produce 250 samples. I know… that is clearly a lot of freakin’ samples! I spent my Sunday evening chopping, dicing, and listening to Bon Iver. I had been totally within the zone. There’s something about the mix of music and food that leaves me feeling totally content. After all, I REALLY LIKE creating dishes a lot more than anything on the planet. Music tunes out the rest. I end up being happiest in my own brain considering flavor combinations.

Here’s a sneak peek: Every morning I wake up and dig through my cupboards. Last week I came across coconut. I acquired super excited. Up coming there have been raspberries and coconut dairy within the fridge. You know what I developed? Toasted coconut oatmeal with raspberry coconut milk & almonds. That was my breakfast time. Same thing occurs at lunch and dinner. In case you loved this article and you wish to receive more details about ina stuffed zucchini boats assure visit our site. I can’t help but simply throw the things I find jointly and somehow ensure it is delicious.

I suppose it would have already been really helpful to have figured all this out four years back, but that isn’t how life works. Life enables you to work with what you would like. It surprises you! And I’m okay with that, as long as I can keep eating stuff that pop into my brain, then talk about them with you. Great?

For the contest I ended up producing ginger-garlic chinese chicken lettuce wraps with sweet mango salsa. I used to be sure they were going to earn. Seriously who doesn’t like MANGO & Chinese language CHICKEN? That combination makes tastebuds dance with delight. I guarantee it’s true.

Even though my dish didn’t win, I’m in fact extremely happy I competed. Interacting with others with the same enthusiasm for food makes me feel like I might end up being actually normal. Because I’ve a strange feeling that watching the meals Network and grocery shopping on a regular basis isn’t? I dunno… I’m just doing my thing.

Right now I can tell you a very important factor. All I want to perform is loosen up and eat a big huge bell pepper filled with goodness and dripping in enchilada sauce. Guess what happens I don’t wish to accomplish? Finish off my most of my possessions. I believe I didn’t point out that I’m departing Washington DC!

Life is totally bonkers right now… in a good way! SO MUCH is going on. Hopefully I will have some fascinating news to share soon. But probably we should talk about this another time? My suitcases are waiting around to become packed and I can tell you want discuss these bell peppers which are stuffed towards the brink.

Just look at these. One of my favorite things I’ve made in a while. I swear all it requires is one bite and you’re in a world full of deliciousness. Which was a serious statement incidentally.

By now you have to know which i don’t joke about when it comes to mexican flavors.
